I was ordering something on Amazon when a promo for the new Amazon series The Last Post popped up on the screen. And well, being a fan of all things British I’ve decided to check it out this weekend during my down time. Right now The Last Post is available with Amazon Prime.
“In the mid-60s, a unit of Royal Military Police officers and their families deal with the challenges of politics, love and war in the shimmering heat of British-controlled Aden.”
Let me know what you think if you decide to watch it–or if you have already seen it.
Peace out Girl Scouts & have yourself a great weekend,

A care package from my mother.

Later that day we came in from the garden and I found 2 dead ticks on her {and a little dried blood in her fur}. That was Wednesday. Yesterday we were out in the garden off and on and each time we came inside, I checked for ticks. Guess what? NO TICKS. Not even dead ones. Yee-Haw! Take that you disgusting little blood suckers.
Quote of the Day ““I learned this, at least, by my experiment: that if one advances confidently in the direction of his dreams, and endeavors to live the life which he has imagined, he will meet with a success unexpected in common hours.” ~ Henry David Thoreau

I didn’t have a wreath form, and had no interest in driving {who knows how long} to the craft store to get one. But, as luck would have it, I found an old Christmas wreath behind the barn. Taking the dead pine branches off was easy, and, it yielded just the right amount of grey wire to re-use for my new pussy willow wreath.
