I can smell Thanksgiving already. The Girl and I got an early start on our cooking, so we’ve technically been smelling Thanksgiving for days! Do you know how much self control it takes not to sneak the pumpkin pie into a dimly lit closet and go to town? There’s so much food, no one’s gonna notice a half-eaten pie, right?
So now that most of the cooking is done and the table is set, we are just waiting for Money Boy to come through the door. A full house, a full table and a full life. What more can a girl ask for? Perhaps a clean-up crew to do the dishes so I don’t have to? 😉
I hope you have plenty to be thankful for today. In addition to all the usual {family, friends, my garden, Lucy, a warm house, etc.}, I’m particularly thankful calories don’t count today. Don’t forget that as you pile your plate high!
May your day be awesome and delicious.
Peace out pilgrims,
♥Mavis

White Chocolate Cranberry Cookies

We are days away from the largest shopping day of the year. People will flock to stores, battle the masses, and fill their carts with the latest and greatest everythings. And then they’ll head home, wrap those gift, and wait for the smiles that will surely come when happy recipients open said gifts on Christmas morning.
Quote of the Day “I am grateful for what I am and have. My thanksgiving is perpetual. It is surprising how contented one can be with nothing definite – only a sense of existence. ~ Henry David Thoreau
